Vampires, Werewolves, and A Town Drunk?

So a week ago Sunday we received the most interesting invitation to a murder party. It was about 11:00 at night and me and Dallin were watching the office when there was a knock on the door. We thought; who on earth is trying to come over right now? Dallin opened it to find a bloody rose with an envelope that'd been sealed with wax. Awesome. There was also an evil laugh sounding alot like Sarah Shirley's as a car drove away. Coolest invite ever. We were all assigned costumes. Dallin was assigned the jester and i the witch. so we were pretty excited. i took the opportunity to be crafty and decided i'd make my own hat. Not gonna lie. I was pretty proud of myself. Dallin thinks I'm a goof. I started with a $3 plastic hat from target and a bunch of odd scraps from JoAnne's. This was the final product.

The party turned out to be as much fun as the invitations. If you've ever played "murder in the dark" it was something like that. Dallin discovered that i can be a super good liar when i want to be and that made me happy Cause i think we're on a more even playing field now. SWEET. The best part though was the costumes.
Dallin likes to be difficult and not smile. Note that i also had green striped stockings. I'm not a lame witch i promise.

Justin and Katey were farmers but they did more of a cowboy/girl theme. We all get a kick out of Katey's "Andy boots" (They say Justin on the bottom)

The town werewolves (Jake and Sarah) his glasses were rad

Micheal the Town Drunk and pregnant Venessa the Town Harlot. AWESOME.

It was alot of fun. It's always fun to hang out with the usual friends but it's also really nice to hang out with new people too. i think it helps us learn more about ourselves everytime we do it. There are alot of fun personalities out there and it's fun when you find a group of strangers you get along with really well.

The Drunk is Dead.

YAY FOR GOOD FRIENDS

This is my favorite.

I swear. only Sarah and Jake would have thought up the combinations of costumes to make the whole thing work and yet be totally hilarious. I think this should become an October tradition. If no one else does it next year. i just might.
