Holiday Decor Etiquette
So i couldn't resist. i decorated the apartment for Halloween. i know you're supposed to wait until the 1st of October... yadda yadda.. but i just couldn't stop myself! and i didn't even just barely do it either.. i did it like 2 weeks ago and Dallin has been making fun of me ever since. but honestly, who made the rules for decorating etiquette anyway? i say that from now on we should decorate for whatever holiday we want whenever we want. i mean why do you think Nightmare Before Christmas was created in the first place? was it for pure entertainments sake? was it just to create another holiday icon? to inspire the awesomeness of a jack or sally costume? NO. it was to inspire the little people like me to decorate for Halloween even during Christmas. i say no more to the standard holiday etiquette. conformity sucks... but lets not leave our christmas lights up after new years.. that's tacky.. ;)

Curmudgeonly old men made up decorating etiquette rules so decorating early only proves that you are not scrooge. I support you!
And since I don't like Thanksgiving- November 1st is officially Christmas decorating time and the start of 2 glorious months of Christmas music.
Glad you got a blog :)
I am dying to put up my little bats and go buy some spiderwebs!! You may have just inspired me to break down and put them up early. I agree with Randi there can never be enough Christmas music, and also Phil would like to add that Nov 1st is Dia de los Muertos so if you like you can use that as your november holiday and skip thxgiving.
